Since I started living a healthier lifestyle, my favorite snacks now are different smoothies. They are not only perfect as snacks, but also great as a quick breakfast on the go, or nutritious beverage. Smoothies definitely are a healthy choice any time of a day.

And they are so easy to make – for a simple smoothie you only need three ingredients! If you have a yogurt and two different fruit – blend it all together and voilà!

Especially I like to make green smoothies, because they are super healthy and tasty as well. Ok, they don’t look as good as strawberry shakes, but that’s not the point here. Take a look on my recipe of today and make yourself a treat.

You will need:

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Banana
  • ½ Avocado
  • Few frozen raspberries
  • Handful of spinach (or kale)
  • Few fresh peppermint leaves
  • Chia seeds
  • Few drops of lemon juiceGreen smoothie recipe
